Product:  With a finger on the pulse of the American people you create the policies that shape the American Dream. Write and deliver a speech that traces the political events that shape the American Dream. Your speech may reflect significant events that have shaped American politics.

Step 1:  Answer the following questions using the links on the media center website

 

 

Research the first four questions.  Answer five based on this information.

• What is the American Dream?

• How has the American Dream changed over time?

• How have significant historical events affected the American Dream?

• How do diverse cultures view the American Dream?

• How will new opportunities of the 21st century both challenge and enhance the American Dream?

• What makes being a Politician an effective medium for exploring the American Dream?

Step 2:  Once you have these questions answered choose ONE of the answers to present in a political speech to be delivered to the class.
